Honoring Dr Agha Seyed Morteza for His Humanitarian Action in the 12-Day War of 1404
Dr. Seyed Hossein Agha Seyed Morteza’s action
In a situation where Israel attacked Iran during the 12-day war of 1404 and its aftermath required the empathy and cooperation of all national scientific, cultural, and social institutions and figures, Dr. Seyed Hossein Agha Seyed Morteza, the Chairman of the Founding Board of the University of Science and Applied-Culture and Art Unit 48 Tehran, demonstrated a humanitarian and responsible action by placing four floors of the university’s main building at the disposal of Tehran’s relief organizations and Emergency services. This initiative, carried out with the direct presence and follow-up of Dr. Agha Seyed Morteza, was a clear manifestation of social commitment and the university community’s solidarity with the people during those critical days.
In appreciation of this valuable move, the University of Medical Sciences and the People’s Participation House of District 11, accompanied by Dr. Razavi, held a ceremony to honor Dr. Seyed Hossein Agha Seyed Morteza by presenting him with a certificate of appreciation and an exquisite plaque. During this ceremony, Dr. Agha Seyed Morteza’s services were introduced as an enduring example of the social role played by universities, and the Cultural Deputy of Unit 48 also regarded this action as a golden page in the university’s history, reflecting Dr. Agha Seyed Morteza’s role-playing in crisis management and support for the community.
